Worn as much as a protective piece as a decoration by the legionnaries of the Roman Empire, this classic belt presents the iconic tasset like straps acting as a reinforced skirt to protect the groin. The medalions and decorations are made of solid brass, similar to what the soldiers used historicaly to customize this cherished piece of equipment. This accessory is a must have for reenactment as well as historical LARP.
