Adventure & Tavern

In fantasy, the tavern or inn is often the link between the normalcy of medieval life and the adventurous heroes and champions who travel the world in search of adventure. It is a safe haven, a place where common folks can meet adventurers and travellers, the mundane mixing with the extraordinary.

Nobles & Merchants

In LARP, nobles and merchants characters are sharing some similarities, often conflated together by stereotypes and caricatural cliches. We all saw those pompous, hedonistic, prideful and self-important characters despising everything that is common or bellow them, shunning physical work and boasting with an almost cartoonish sense of entitlement.

Description

This elegant cape is made of genuine wool and handmade locally in our workshop. Displaying an asymmetrical medieval fantasy design, this fantastic piece presents a lined collar that contrast in color and texture with the soft wool. It is closed with a long row of brass-plated snap buttons for a dashing look. Relatively short, the cloak will keep you warm without limiting your movements in LARP, making it an excellent accessory for swashbucklers and daring explorers, as well as for traveling bards, magical merchants, and adventuring wizards.

Characteristics

  • Unique collar: Once you have chosen your wool color for the cape from the choices above, our artisans will match the collar lining with a surprise pattern made from recycled fabric for a unique version of the cape. Send us your choice of color for the collar lining (e.g. gold, purple, white, etc.) as a note in the shopping cart or via info@artisansdazure.com (indicating your invoice number). The pattern will be random but follow your specification.
  • Materials: Wool and patterned polyester
  • One size
  • Length of the cape: 109 cm / 43 in
