The pistol fits nice and snug in the holster, which is great for a character that is always on the move.
I also appreciate that I am able to attach it at different angles thanks to the two direction belt loop.
I've had the opportunity to use this for a weekend, and overall it held up well. Other than being stiff it's comfortable enough to wear, though it's a bit uncomfortable to wear all day, particularly when trying to sit down or eat. The look is great, it looks as represented in pictures. For an off the shelf piece of armor it's a good choice, but I would leave off one star for comfort - a shorter breastplate would make it easier to bend and move the upper body.
I ordered this based on the look of the pistol and the price was not outrageous like many others are. However, this is supposed to be a “replica” and not a toy. I know it’s a fine line between the two but details count. The finish on the top part has black blemishes that cannot come off. The hammer is really just a cap hammer and not a replica firing pin at all. I hoped to use this in a carefully planned skirmish in a few weeks reenacting a famous pirate attack on Liverpool against redcoats but this would be noticeably subpar from all the others who have invested hundreds in real replicas. I can’t use it as intended. I did get what I paid for and delivery was quick but the fittings are loose and up close, this looks like a toy. More details would’ve helped a lot.
Buying things off the internet always comes with a degree of caution and anxiety, which was no different here. But previous reviews, albeit few, coupled with the clear photo of the product, gave me hope. I was not disappointed. The belt was comfortable, quite adjustable to a point I did not worry about being under or over sized, regardless of armor or clothing added. And was flexible enough to open up to get pouches and decor added along. It felt sturdy and well made in my hands. I would hands down, buy it again.

I am working on repairing 3 of these items for an acquaintance. The sear cracked apart on all 3 of them. I am trying to drive out the spring dowel that holds the trigger/seer in place, so I can epoxy an aluminum C-channel to the broken portion for reinforcement.
I recommend increasing the width (not material thickness; that should be fine) of the seer so it is more resistant to breaking at the failure points, as well as adding a radius where it holds back the spring, to remove the stress concentrator that leads to snapping.
