A Second Life for Your Gear

At Azure and Nemesis Workshops, we believe in sustainability, honoring quality craftsmanship, and respecting the materials we use. A broken strap or a worn-out foam blade shouldn't mean the end of your favorite piece of gear.

Whether your item needs a minor tune-up after years of loyal service or a complete blade replacement, our workshops in Montreal and St-Elie-de-Caxton are equipped to restore your equipment. We don't just sell gear; we maintain the arsenal of the LARP community.

Important Notice on Delays: Please note that repair delays fluctuate based on our current production volume. During the high LARP season (Spring/Summer), wait times can be significantly longer. Please plan and submit your request well before your next event!

Nemesis Workshops

Foam Weapon Refurbishing

Important Constraint: Due to the specific chemical bonding, foam densities, and materials used in our manufacturing process, we exclusively repair original Nemesis Workshops weapons. We cannot repair foam weapons from other brands. (If you have a warranty issue with a partner brand purchased through us, please visit our Warranty Page. )

Our Services

  • Latex Restoration and Re-Coating: This service includes cleaning the blade, reattaching the latex, repairing cuts in the foam, and applying a fresh coat of our exclusive flexible varnish.
  • Blade Replacement: If the damage is too extensive or if the fiberglass shaft is broken, we can replace the blade with a new one. In this case, you can choose the blade’s appearance (standard or chipped) while keeping your original handle. We also offer this service for replacing axe blades.
  • Handle Refurbishment: We replace torn or worn leather handle wraps with new, top-quality leather that fits perfectly.

Leather & Metal Armor Repairs

Important Constraint: While we specialize in repairing our own Artisans d'Azure house brand, our skilled artisans are open to evaluating and repairing LARP leather, steel, and aluminum gear from other brands! (Note: Acceptance is always subject to approval based on the item's construction and condition during the quoting phase. We do not repair shoes, boots, or non-LARP everyday items like fashion leather coats or motorcycle pouches).

Our Services

  • Hardware Replacement: Replacing popped rivets, snapped buckles, or torn eyelets on both leather and metal armors.
  • Metal Restoration: Rust removal, polishing, re-painting, and general maintenance for steel or aluminum plates.
  • Strap Replacement: Cutting and installing fresh, durable leather straps to replace torn or stretched ones.
  • Dyeing & Conditioning: Deep cleaning, re-hydration of dry leather, and color touch-ups to restore the original patina.
  • Sizing Adjustments: Adding extensions or adjusting the fit of an armor piece that no longer fits perfectly.

The Restoration Process

Every repair is unique. Because of this, we do not have a flat price list.
All refurbishing services are done on a custom quote. Here is how to proceed:

Document & Submit

Fill out the form below. Clear, well-lit photos are strictly mandatory. We need to see the entire item AND close-ups of the damage to evaluate if a repair is technically and safely possible.

Step 2

Evaluation & Quote

Our customer service team will review your photos with our artisans. We will reply via email with a feasibility assessment and a custom price estimate for the repair.

Step 3

Ship to the Right Workshop

Once you approve the quote, you will need to send the item to us.

🛡️ Armors: Must be shipped to our leather workshop in Montreal, QC.

Step 4

Restoration & Return

Our artisans will work their magic. Once the invoice is paid and the repair is complete, we will safely ship the item back to you, ready for battle.
