Fathers frowned and mothers whispered often of late; war was coming. Soon, the banners would be lifted and she and her sisters-in-arms would not be left behind when their brothers set out for battle. The first of many, if she had any say. She was still young but had vowed long ago that hers would be a meaningful life; she intended to leave an indelible mark on this world.

Description

The Naginata, whose name means “reaping” or “mowing down”, is noticeable for its sleek design and realistic appearance. Boasting a length that allows for cutting down opponents with its superior reach, this weapon, cast in Calimacil foam, is equipped with a removable tsuba , cinched between blade and haft.  A weapon prized by both samurai warriors and their retinues, it was often used alongside the sword and the bow.
