Flail
Flail
Inspired by the war flails from the Middle Ages, this chained weapon is as unusual as it is dangerous on the battlefield. Rarely used in period battles because of its dangerous and difficult handling, this weapon has particular characteristics that are very well suited for LARP combat. The articulation on this latex bludgeon allows the mace head to go around an opponent's shield and hit past its guard. This weapon is wielded by using its momentum to keep it moving, keeping it circling until the decisive strike. A fully offensive weapon, the flail is best used with a shield on the other arm, as it can't easily be used to parry, and is best employed attacking over and over again.
