What are the Azure Quests? It's an ambitious project in partnership with the Guilds of Bicolline, designed to bring players together, explore the Duchy and learn more about the history and style of dozens of Guilds! The principle is simple: every morning during the Grande Bataille, we post the day's quests on our bulletin board; participants then have a few hours to find the location of the adventure, complete the quest and bring us the evidence to earn rewards! Here's a summary of 2024's adventures!
Quests tales
Celebrating generations of culinary culture, the Clan Mac'Mairt of the Celtic Isles was looking for new farmers to join the Ivernesshire cattle production on the Monday of the Grande Bataille. Calves awaited the adventurers in a pen on their camp. Under the watchful eye of the Mac'Mairt, participants had to lasso the calves and score points by leading them out of the pen and keeping them captured. Competitive timed modes were even available for the most confident of adventurers!

The Andorian Guild of Hyperion had hidden eight chests, each containing a letter, throughout the territory of the Duché de Bicolline. Armed with a treasure map, groups of adventurers had to brave unknown lands and navigate through the Duchy's famous districts, as well as some unknown ones, in order to find its various chests. They could then compose a password to whisper to the guild in order to receive a reward. Adventurers in turn could walk the Grand Chemin and discover the wonders of the duchy's grounds!

A strong and proud guild, the Ragnarok allowed some brave adventurers to take part in a major tournament, the Bear Trial. This consists of fighting one of their champions, Baldex Dent-de-Loup, in a duel and attempting to defeat him. The Trial is an important sacred test, respecting the ancestral traditions of the great Ragnarok family. Each member must protect the others, like a large family. Proud souls are often invited to try their trial with their champions. After finding the Baldex fighter in their camp, a duel would be declared. If the legends are true, very few have succeeded in defeating him.

High up in the Hundar Camp, the Sicarii offered the bravest adventurers the chance to get involved in a dark investigation. One of their own had lost his memory and needed to be found. On meeting the famous Destinée, she told them of the misadventures that had led to the loss of her memory. Words in the Hundar language had been left behind by this Guild member. After a translation of these words, all the information needed to take part in this dangerous hunt was gathered. Some adventurers would have found a Hundar in the vicinity of the Inn by following the sequence of translated words. He was finally able to regain his mind, but only after he had been reasoned with, through blood and flame.

The Tuesday of the Grande Bataille was a very important day for Lady Morianne de Gaïa. Her Andorian Lord was eager to drop by her camp to sample the lady's renowned cuisine. However, ingredients were in short supply and Lady Morianne sorely needed help to meet her Lord's request. Adventurers were therefore dispatched to help her gather ingredients from the various Markets of the Duchy of Bicolline. Time was of the essence, and it was crucial that all ingredients be delivered in time to cook the famous recipe. According to the adventurers, they delivered all the ingredients in time for a sumptuous meal.

Meanwhile, Clan Njolfeoda of the Terres d'Auquesse and their Völva, their guardian of divination and ancient secrets, were in trouble. Indeed, one of her divination stones was under the seal of an important curse that had to be broken. The stone was hot to the touch for the Völva. By following clues hidden throughout the Duché of Bicolline, the adventurers were able to discover dark riddles which, once deciphered, revealed how to undo the curse. Following readings of the future and the discovery of the Völva sanctuary, a certain treasure could even be uncovered.

The Griffon Guild shared a closely-guarded secret that few have ever seen first-hand. They let various adventurers know that a wild griffin, which they had captured on their lands in autumn 1023, was now living in cohabitation with the guild under their camp! Adventurers were invited to enter the guild's premises in search of traces of its passage, green feathers that might have powerful magical properties. Some were able to hand over their feathers to M'artaros of the Griffon guild and receive a warm welcome from the Kafian guild.

Wednesday was a day of many adventures. To create new alliances, the young Colibrille guild asked adventurers to help them become ambassadors of their history, culture and traditions, so as to build solid alliances. Adventurers carried their coats of arms and used their words to collect a certain number of alliances, symbolized by signatures from various guilds and foreign nations. Many adventurers spent the day in their company, discussing politics, history and prosperous alliances.

The Imperial Dragonier Guild was looking for adventurers to help them with a troubling story. Kellen, their historian, was transcribing the story of a mythical hero into a magnificent codex when he dropped his quill. He bent down to retrieve it and unfortunately hit his head, forgetting the end of his story! The adventurers had to find Adaline at their camp in Old Town, so they could help Kellen. By rummaging through her writing space, it was possible to find her old notes and reconstruct the end of the story, but above all the name of the main character.

A ferocious beast emerged from a nearby mine near the Nains-Génieurs' camp, disturbing the operations of the hard-working dwarves. This extravagant guild, known for its hooked buildings and steampunk style, comprises dwarves seeking to recover the lost secrets of the depths, as well as “génieurs”, their human and hobbit friends supporting them in this quest.
The adventurers who came to help had to be resourceful and inventive to solve this unexpected problem. The monster was aggressive but also sensitive to sound and colour. They had to experiment and investigate to find something that would scare the beast away without harming it, because Master Suisse, a young member of the guild, had become its friend. The players explored various possibilities: assembling a series of colourful stones to charm the monster; creating a dwarf invention to make a racket and scare it away; and finding its favourite food to finally make it fall asleep with a full stomach. Finding this creature was quite the adventure, but it was also a fun evening full of surprises.

On Thursday mornings, the inhabitants of the Duchy of Bicolline could interact with an unlucky character, Baudoin from the Great Crossing. He had told the adventurers near the door of the inn, sheltered from passers-by who were willing to listen, about the ups and downs of his life. He had inadvertently manipulated an ancient magic scroll while trying to cook his beautiful potato recipe at the inn. Since then, he's had a string of bad luck! He was sprayed with dirty water, robbed of his purse by highwaymen and even bitten by a skaven! Baudoin even feared that an assassin might accidentally attack him.
Dispatched by the Order of Azure, adventurers took over the drawing of this unfortunate man. After some investigation and discussion with Baudoin, they were able to investigate his case, and the most ingenious of adventurers soon realized that the person responsible for the whole misadventure was none other than his neighbor! He had been given the cursed parchment to protect his jealous neighbor's delicacies. The solution to this great misfortune was hidden in a secret parchment and could only be read by the light of a flame. So, in turn, Baudoin was given a potato to cure him of this terrible curse.

At their camp, the Lions du Nord, a Berkwald guild, opened their doors to welcome the Berserker's Test. Adventurers were brought to their camp to answer the call of their Gods, who challenged them to face those who might be able to measure up to them. They could attempt a very special test: the hammer throw. They would, of course, have to face the guild champions in this event. If the adventurers won at least two of the three battles against the guild champions, they could then proclaim themselves winners of the event.

The Phoenix Guild announced sad news on Friday: their master chef was retiring. With this announcement, the Berkwald Guild came up with the idea of opening up the position to adventurers of the Azure Order. Those interested had to learn the famous Phoenix burger recipe, hidden in their camp, before reproducing it blindly, using only the sense of touch. In record time, the apprentice cooks had to create two burgers without making a mistake! Only after tasting these culinary wonders could the Phoenix acquire a new cook.

A great adventure awaited adventurers who decided to visit the Ordro Cervi guild on Friday evening. They were looking for additional members to join a mysterious expedition into the woods near the Totem Plain. They were to rescue a witch living in the mysterious woods. Meeting Ruger Wyldog at the Ordro Cervi camp, the scouting party hurried along the dangerous woods at dusk. Then, through the branches, the team spotted bandits! A quick battle ensued and, according to the expedition members, it was quick and brutal. The adventurers were lucky to emerge victorious. Further into the woods, they found the witch and were finally able to escort her to safety.
