The Ember Repurgator Armor
Through the haze of the battlefield, a figure strides forward, his presence as heavy as the steel he wears. Encased in dark, intimidating plate armor and draped in a deep red cloak that trails behind him, he appears carved from the stories told to frighten children. His executioner’s axe rests against his shoulder, a grim, unadorned thing of iron and purpose, its edge honed for one task.
They call him the Ember Repurgator, a title spoken in equal parts fear and reverence. His duty is absolute: to bring down judgment on those deemed irredeemable. Behind the narrow steel visor, his eyes are empty, dulled by death and remorse; too many souls sent to meet their fate now weigh on his own. There’s no glory in his work, only necessity. To the guilty, he is finality. To those who fight alongside him, he is a man burdened by his mission, bound by an unyielding creed.
This fantasy plate armor was designed for an iron willed LARP warrior. Made of darkened aluminum plates affixed to rigid red leather slats, the armor set presents a rugged yet dignified appearance, worthy of a dark paladin, stark inquisitor, or ruthless knight. Every piece shares the same finish, with the leather displaying engravings on its edges and black shading, darkening the red dye with a dirty, ashen look.
The set includes a full face medieval helmet, an articulated breastplate, a single leather pauldron, and a full gladiator armored arm on the right side, creating a touch of stylish asymmetry for this custom armor. The legs are also protected with red studded leather on the thighs, and metal greaves matching the rest of the set. We also modified a long cloak made of dark red wool so it can be attached to the pauldrons, adding some flare to this brooding character.
