Description
This lamellar armor is heavily inspired by the ancient steel armors worn by the varangian guard, the famous mercenary soldiers from Scandinavia that were trusted with the protection of the Byzantine emperor. It's an iconic armor design from eastern Europe and the great steppes spreading from Hungary to Mongolia, making it an authentic historical piece that can be used for SCA, reenactment, or LARP. This type of armor is best used to portray slavic boyars, horse nomads, norse mercenaries, byzantine soldiers, and Rus warriors.
