Description
The battle axe was an effective and easy-to-make weapon of war that was most famously used by the Scandinavian raiders and warriors of the Viking age. Widespread in its use, this chopping weapon could deliver devastating blows capable of injuring even armored foes, while bitting deeply into flesh and bones. It was a cheap and versatile weapon, perfect for the common warrior, but also praised by more experienced fighters for its strength and utility. Unlike a sword, a battle axe can be used to hook and pull away your opponent's weapon or shield, the beard of the axe being a great tool in combat. This latex reproduction made for LARP is reinforced to allow such maneuvers, making this axe a perfect combat weapon for Vikings, adventurous lumberjacks, barbarians, woodmen, or low-born men-at-arms.
