This early crusader helm is a great medieval armor piece from the Crusades, as often seen worn by knights and their retinue soldiers on the battlefields of the Holy Land. This particular helmet is often considered the precursor of the great helm most iconic for the knight templars and hospitallers. The interior of the helm is blackened and is fitted with an adjustable suspension liner of padded cotton and an adjustable leather chin strap with a brass buckle. This LARP armor piece is best used for clerics, knights, men-at-arms, and holy warriors. It can also be used for historical reenactment.
