Description
These chainmail mitten gauntlets are made from riveted mail rings which are stitched onto a padded gambeson gauntlet to give its wearer protection from cuts and concussive impacts. The mild steel rings are 17 gauge in thickness and have an internal diameter of 9mm. Half of the flat rings are riveted and these alternate with solid flat rings for an authentic historical construction. The arming mitten itself is made of thick, quilted cotton which is padded on the inside with organic cotton. The underside of the hands is lined with quality, supple leather for ease of movement and grip. A perfect fit for crusaders, and other medieval knights or warriors.
