This chainmail coif is constructed from dome-riveted flat rings of mild steel, which alternate with solid rings of mild steel. This construction method is closer to the historical origins of this kind of armor than more common chainmails made only from rond rings. This headpiece is a perfect accessory for knights, men-at-arms, mercenaries, and crusaders in LARP.
