Between its history and its legends, Antiquity is filled to the brim with iconic characters that are now points of reference for both real life and fantasy. But more than the Spartacus, Hercules, Judas, Aphrodite, or Hannibal, the time period also saw concepts that would grow very well represented in our culture, and inspire a lot of characters in LARP.
In ancient times where heroes fought superhuman creatures and demigods, an army was finally created to ensure the survival of humanity. These soldiers wore flexible and fast armor to be effective on many battles. One of these battles inspired strategists in future years: the Battle of Himarak. This village was located in a valley that allowed passage to the inland of the country. The invaders, redundant, attacked the small garrison with confidence up. To counter this situation, the warriors thought to operate in small groups perfectly coordinated by combat whistle sounds. With accurate simultaneous attacks and good mobility, the enemy believed to be in a shorthanded and retreated after heavy losses.
