BARBARIAN

The concept of the barbarian is as old as civilization itself, finding its origins as far away in history as the founding myths of the great city of Uruk, thousands of years before any Roman or even ancient Chinese used the epithet to mock the people of their periphery.

Description

As he journeyed across the land, Aiden faced countless trials and challenges, from bandit raids to monstrous beasts that lurked in the depths of the wilderness. Yet through it all, he remained undaunted, his resolve unshaken by the dangers that lay ahead. One fateful day, while traveling through the rugged foothills of the Dragonspine Mountains, Aiden stumbled upon the ruins of an ancient battlefield. Amidst the shattered remnants of fallen warriors, he discovered a single leather pauldron, its surface scarred and weathered by the passage of time. Though it was but a simple piece of armor, Aiden felt a strange sense of kinship with the pauldron, as if it were calling out to him from across the ages. Determined to honor the memory of those who had fallen before him, Aiden donned the pauldron and vowed to carry their legacy forward into the future.
