Legend
Considering duty as the sole guide of their existence, the samurais fought with pride and address. They served with honor at any cost and were willing to challenge all those who opposed their way of the warrior. For these virtuous beings, self-control was a rule of conduct and control of the sword a true artform. They were not ordinary soldiers, but the elite fighters of their nation. Wearing their armor and their swords displayed their unique status as the noble warrior caste of Japan.
